Website Changes
So anyway, I decided to remove the stupid feature of this site that required people to login before having the ability to search the site.
I still appreciate people signing up to the site, but the actual benefit of this is limited unless you are going to submit anything or add any comments. The most useful functions of this site as I see it are
The layout has also been changed to one article per page. Use the navigation at the bottom of the page to see previous articles. Hopefully this will encourage people to leave comments. I will be improving the comment-leaving process at some point in the future...Currently, login is required but I will eventually allow anonymous comments when I have the security sorted.
I've been busy in photoshop and the gimp and as a result, the site has some nice new funky designs. Try floaty (the default, red) as well as the yellow and blue themes from the drop down menu on the right hand side of the home page. If you have a particular preference then you need to be a logged in member to save it as your own default.
The site is now wider to allow more information on the page.
I added a modest paypal "donate" button to try and get a few pennies out of this. The guitar is unfortunately not my full time job so I struggle sometimes to find the time to develop this site and it's tools. A small thank you from anyone who finds this site and The interactive Circle of fifths useful would certainly encourage me to find more time for this endeavour.
So much to do and so little time :-(
The Guitar Master :-)
