rock. Stick with a prepared lesson plan or simply ask how
to play a certain song or piece. The guitar master will show
you how to play it.
Your Instrument
The
Guitar Master fully endorses the use of almost any type of
guitar. The music you play comes from your soul. It can be
happy, sad, angry, or mildly annoyed. It usually reflects
the state of mind you are in when you're playing. One can
only dread to think what state of mind Frank
Zappa seemed to be in most of the time, or Kurt
Cobain and anyone else who saw fit to destroy their instruments
on stage for that matter. (God rest their eternal souls.)
The
point of these paragraphs are that the guitar you play should
be whatever you feel most comfortable with and allows you
to progress the fastest. For most people this is a spanish

Teaching
Style

are designed to maintain the students interest. At the beginning,
theory and scales are kept to a minimum. The lessons are about
learning to create music.

and tabs for practicing in the time before their next lesson.
Once
the student reaches a certain level of skill, the need to
grasp music theory concepts and scales will make itself apparent.

to progress their talent to the next level and practicing
